  • Reviewing prior authorization approval rates: We’re analyzing our prior authorization approval data across our membership to identify any disparities. By understanding how approvals vary among different groups, we can ensure that all members receive equitable consideration for their healthcare needs.
  • Assessing appeals and grievances patterns: To support members who may not be as familiar with advocating for themselves, we’re examining appeal and grievance trends. If certain groups are underrepresented in this data, it may indicate they would benefit from additional information and proactive outreach. This initiative is aimed at empowering members to understand and use their rights within the healthcare system.
  • Enhancing member materials based on call trends: By analyzing call trends, we gain insights into the information that matters most to our members. This helps us update and improve our materials to focus on benefits and resources that are most relevant, ensuring that every member has clear, accessible information about their healthcare options.
