We want to keep you and your family informed with important updates. Here are some resources and commonly asked questions to help you navigate COVID-19.
Vaccines
The COVID-19 vaccination is available free of charge for all WellSense members. You will not have any out-of-pocket fees or copays for getting the COVID-19 vaccination. You may be asked to provide insurance information by those administering the vaccine in order to bill back to insurance. However, you will not be charged. Visit vaccines.gov to find a COVID-19 vaccine near you.
Some WellSense members can get transportation to their vaccination appointments at no out of pocket cost. To schedule transportation:

Testing
- We'll cover the cost of testing for COVID-19 if it's recommended by your doctor. Your doctor will provide you with instructions about the testing process that you need to follow specifically for COVID-19.
- MassHealth and Senior Care Options members can get up to two over-the-counter, at-home test kits at no charge when purchased through an in-network pharmacy using your WellSense ID card.
- Telehealth visits regarding COVID-19 testing and treatment will be provided at no cost to you.
Treatment
COVID-19 testing and medically necessary treatment are covered at no cost to members.
Our mail order pharmacy program can deliver medications directly to your door so you don’t need to leave your home. You may also be able to fill certain prescriptions early to help you limit how often you leave the house.If your plan type has cost-sharing responsibility, your copays will be waived for treatment of the virus. If your plan has copays, deductibles, and coinsurance for services, those will also be waived for COVID-19 treatment.
